I am currently pursuing a PhD in Clinical Psychology at the University of Oregon. My research interests center around understanding and treating depression. One arm of research I am currently involved in is utilizing passive mobile sensing (e.g., text content, phone usage) in order to detect and prevent mental health and other health related events that would benefit from early interventions. I have additional interests in understanding how depression develops in adolescence, specifically in the brain, by utilizing functional and structural MRI data to elucidate the underlying mechanisms of this mental health disorder.
